The idea is simple. This site is for finding friends and making friends.
How do I browse ads looking for friends?
To browse friend ads is relatively simple:
1) Click on Find Friends or Search by City
2) Browse ads from people looking to make friends
3) Read their ad. If you like it, contact them! (If you send a picture too, it must be .GIF, .PNG or .JPG only)
How do I post my friend ad?
Posting an ad looking for friends is easy peasy:
1) Click on Post an Ad
2) Fill in your details (title, age, whether you're a group/single, interests, message etc)
3) Submit your ad, verify you're a real human being by email and voila - it'll be placed online

What's the idea behind the site?
Well... one night we got chatting about how difficult it was to meet new people and how much we all missed university life. So, we decided to try and create a site (albeit in a drunken stooper) to use for ourselves (and others) to find friends. This is it.
Can I find a friend who...?
Yes, you can! If you're looking for a friend to speak French with, do the salsa with, go drinking with or just to go to the pub with - we have them all here. Simply search by keyword (or tag) and we'll try and match all ads that meet your criteria.
I can't find what I'm looking for?
Who are you, Bono? Well, if you are, hi Bono! If not, the answer is simple - we only launched in November 2009 - so we're still accumulating people (and trying our hardest to do so). Hence, if you can't find what you're looking for, why not post an ad!
I can't log in with my email address and password?
Well, either you've forgotten your password. If this is the case click here. If you just can't log in, or have an error or problem, let us know here.
I haven't received my verification email?
Ah, that old chestnut. Basically, you need to do 2 things. Firstly, add mail@friendfinders to your friends list. You need to do this as all emails from us are sent via this email address.
Now, having done that, click here to resend your verification email.
Note: You need the email address you created your ad with. If you've forgotten it, either contact us or create a new ad using another email address.
Why the advertising?
Don't be such a heartless git! Don't get us wrong, we want this site to be free - but at the same time we also have costs. And hence the advertising, to pay for these costs. So there... :P
